Hiroto Uechi

After graduating from the Faculty of Science at Kyoto University, Hiroto Uechi built his career as a web programmer and systems designer before establishing himself as an independent consultant based in Osaka, operating under the business name Honneamise. He currently works as a Microsoft SharePoint Architect and Technical Consultant, specializing in enterprise information infrastructure and technology strategy.

Through his blog, SharePoint Wizard, Uechi has published numerous original studies that have since become the source material for many SharePoint-related articles and blogs throughout Japan. Among his most notable contributions are his groundbreaking analysis of parallel index server scaling using SharePoint 2007 multi-farm architecture — a technique entirely unknown in Japan at the time — and his formulation of the "Curry Udon Problem," a conceptual framework that cuts to the heart of fundamental challenges in document management taxonomy.

He is also recognized for his direct and rigorous correction of technical misinformation that had been widely circulated and misunderstood among SharePoint engineers of the era.
